Scope and zodiac system
ZodiacJoy is an independent educational and entertainment reference to Western tropical astrology. Signs are interpreted through commonly documented symbolic categories including element, modality, polarity, planetary rulership, planet, house, and aspect. We identify the system because tropical and sidereal zodiac calculations are not interchangeable.
How the library is structured
Each guide follows a consistent editorial knowledge model. A planet describes the symbolic function involved, a sign describes how that function operates, a house describes where it becomes visible, and an aspect describes how two planetary functions interact. Combination pages synthesize those components instead of assigning unrelated traits or unexplained scores.
Accuracy standards
Date-only Sun-sign pages use conventional tropical ranges. Dates near sign boundaries are clearly flagged because the exact solar ingress varies by year and time zone. Exact degrees, Moon signs, rising signs, house cusps, and aspects require complete birth data and a reliable ephemeris calculation. Pages do not claim calendar dates alone can provide those details.
Compatibility approach
Pairing guides compare elements, modalities, needs, attraction, conflict, and repair as symbolic relationship styles. They are not probabilities, diagnoses, predictions, or substitutes for full synastry and lived behavior.
Editorial review
Pages are checked for consistent rulerships, elements, modalities, sign boundaries, route combinations, and qualification language. We avoid deterministic claims, fictional credentials, guaranteed predictions, and professional advice. Structural checks also verify that every indexable page has a unique title, description, canonical URL, internal links, and a place in the site hierarchy.
Authorship and accountability
Reference pages are published under ZodiacJoy Editorial because they are produced from a shared site methodology rather than presented as the personal consultation of an individual astrologer. ZodiacJoy was founded by Jayshree Anandakumar. We do not imply that a named expert personally assessed a reader or their chart.
Reference standards
Astronomical claims require reliable ephemeris, time, and location data. Historical and interpretive claims are checked against established reference works, with differences among traditions identified where they materially change the reading. See our sources and further reading.
Updates and corrections
We revise content when we identify a factual, calculation, routing, or clarity problem. Significant changes are reflected in page and sitemap modification dates. To report a correction, email hello@zodiacjoy.com with the page URL and a clear description of the issue.
Limits
Astrology is a cultural and symbolic practice, not a scientifically validated method for predicting personality or events. ZodiacJoy content is for reflection and entertainment and should not replace professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or safety advice.
